With the June Bank Holiday fast approaching, the payment dates for those on certain social welfare schemes will change as post offices and banks close for the day.
People can expect to receive their payments in advance of the day, however, this could depend on how you have it set up, for example, through the bank, cheque etc.
We have gathered all the information on the affected social welfare payments, including child benefit and all pension schemes.

Those receiving child benefit will likely not be affected by the June Bank Holiday as those that qualify for the payment and are to be paid directly into your bank account should get it on Tuesday, 7th June.
However, in certain cases people may receive it on Friday, 3rd June instead, however, this may not be the same for everyone.
Those receiving their payments by cheques that are set to arrive by Monday, 6th June, should also get them by the previous Friday as they will be posted a day earlier.
This may mean for people with children aged 16 and 17, it could be their final payment until September.
For parents and legal guardians with children between the ages of 16 and 17, their monthly Children’s Allowance will be suspended for July and August with June being their final payment of the summer months.
If their children remain in full-time education, are in full-time training or have a disability and cannot support themselves, their payments will begin again in September.
They will also receive the back payments for July and August with this payment.
However, if their child turns 18 before September, they will receive any payment that would have been given up until the month they turned 18.
With the upcoming Bank Holiday landing on Monday, 6th June, welfare and pension payments can be collected two days earlier.
They will be available from your point of collection from Saturday, 4th June.
If you receive your payments directly into your bank account, you will instead be paid on Friday, 3rd June.
Those that get their welfare and social welfare payments via a cheque can expect to have it posted out to them a day earlier, with the majority of people receiving it on Friday, 3rd June.
Other social welfare payments
If you would normally receive your social welfare payments on Monday, 6th June, it can be expected that you will get it on Friday, 4th June instead.
