Holiday events to raise your spirits in San Antonio this weekend

Illume: Making Spirits Bright

This weekend, enjoy a light-up art installation on the San Pedro Creek by local artist Justice David Gutierrez. The LED sculptures are accompanied by a musical score by Alberto Vazquez. On Saturday, December 11 from 6 pm to 9 pm, enjoy the installation with giveaways, short videos, and food trucks.

Free parking is available at the Bexar County Parking Garage located at 514 W. Quincy.

Catch a Charles Dickens movie at the Tobin Center

The Man Who Invented Christmasa biographical drama by filmmaker Bharat Nalluri about the story of how Dickens came up with the idea for his iconic book A Christmas Carol, will screen at the Tobin Center on Friday night at 7 pm Tickets are available.
