Indiana May primary early voting, how to register

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — There are lots of ways to vote in the May 3 primary election in Indiana, but it starts with being registered to vote.

Voter registration deadline

Close of business Monday is the state’s deadline to register to vote in the primary or transfer registration in local voter registration offices.

If you want to complete and submit a voter registration application online, you’ve got until midnight Monday to do it.

The state’s voter registration page has the voter registration application along with details about who can vote in Indiana. Some military and overseas votes have different registration dates.

Early voting in primary

Early on-site voting in Vanderburgh County starts at 8 am Tuesday at Old National Events Plaza in Evansville and will end there at noon May 2, the day before primary election day.
