Band to play at Craven Community College

John Brown’s “Little” Big Band is scheduled to perform at 7:30 pm on Friday at Craven Community College, Orringer Auditorium, 800 College Ct. The band will bring the sound of the 1940s swing band music to life in this show of instruments and big, dramatic notes. Tickets are $ 25 and $ 12 for students. Tickets issued for the original concert date, Friday, Jan. 21, will be honored for this performance.

Craven Arts Council presents Art Walk

Summer Concert Series features I-42 Band

Footloose on the Neuse Summer Concert Series will feature the I-42 BAND at 6:30 pm June 10, at Union Point Park. The band specializes in the best of Dance / Party music as well as Classic Beach Standards, Motown, soul, R & B , funk and modern country. Featured upfront is the nationally known recording artist Bryan Mayer. Trial By Fire – Journey Tribute Band will be the guest performers at 6:30 pm June 24.
